This is The guestbook or as i like to call it "The Guidepost of the Hunters". The guidepost of the hunters is the book which tells the story of the hunter, Dante and the Protector, Lucia. The book is never read, but in Devil May Cry 2 it gives advice or an overview of what happens in the mission before you start it.
