Devil May Cry, Or DMC is an action adventure game made by Capcom. It has a Gothic theme. Devil May Cry was released on 16th October 2001 and Devil May Cry 2 was released on 25th January 2003. Both were published and developed by Capcom. Capcom have created many hit games series such as Resident Evil, A survival horror game with zombies, Omniusha, A survival horror set in ancient Japan, around the time of the Samurai, Maximo, A platformer game with swords and underpants... Also created by Capcom is possibly the biggest fighting game series ever, Street Fighter, an excellent fighting game spanning over 20 years. Capcom creates a lot of action packed games. Devil May Cry though, is my favourite game series they have ever made.

Devil May Cry is a Gothic Action Adventure game. It is about Dante and his never-ending quest to defeat the underworld and prevent them from ever taking over the human world. In Devil May Cry he is on Mallet Island, where the gate to the underworld has been opened, so Dante must go there, defeat Mundus, Ruler of the underworld and seal the gate. In Devil May Cry 2 Dante is in the land known as the "vie de marli", Where the multi-millionaire owner of  UROBOROS, is attempting to find the 3 Arcanas and open the gate to the underworld and release havoc unto the human world. In both games Dante must stop these maniacs from achieving thier goal using his demonic powers...
