Devil May Cry 2
Devil May Cry 2 is Dante's second adventure. It contains 2 discs, Dante's disc, which is the harder, faster and more challenging of either disc and Lucia's disc, which is the simpler, easier and more basic of either disc. Dante's disc provides longer and more challenging missions which run at a much faster pace and are for experienced DMC players, Where a Lucia's disc has shorter and fewer missions, with less enemies and easier boss fights, designed for players new to DMC. I would recommend to players who are new to DMC to play Lucia's disc first, to get used to the gameplay and physics and those who are more experienced players to play Dante's disc first for more of a challenge, but still to have a shot at Lucia's disc first because the physics for DMC 2 are a lot different then DMC. Dante and Lucia are also known as the Hunter and the Protector. Dante is the Hunter, Hunter of Demons and Destroyer of Evil. Lucia is the Protector, Protector of The 3 Arcanas, The keys to opening the underworld.

This time, Dante is attempting to stop the multi-millionaire, owner of UROBOROS, Arius, from aquiring the 3 Arcanas, opening the gate to the underworld and summoning Argosax the Chaos. He meets Lucia and she helps him to find the 3 Arcanas before Arius, but she gets captured. Dante must save Lucia, and he does, but Arius escapes with the 3 Arcanas and opens the Gate to the Underworld and summons Argosax. Dante enters the Underworld and defeats Argosax. Out of Argosax's melting body emerges "The Despair Embodied" (who i think is the real state of Mundus from DMC). Dante defeats "The Despair Embodied" and travels to Hell, and that's where his story end's leaving us in suspense at what Dante will find in Hell... Lucia's disc is the same story exept she doesn't enter the underworld, she stays and fights a possesed Arius, who Dante was meant to have killed (Dante's shoddiest piece of work yet...). She defeats posessed Arius and goes and waits for Dante at "Devils Never Cry", Dante's buisness (i wonder where Trish is, did they have a bitch fight?). She hears a bike pull up and she runs to meet whoever's on the bike (could that be Trish?) and her story ends there. Both stories have cliffhangers, perhaps for DMC 3...

Lucia is Dante's sidekick (what happened to Trish?). She has several moves similar to Dante, but her weapons are completley different, instead of guns she has a variety of different weapons. Her arsenal is: Throwing daggers, Cranky bombs, darts and a Bow Gun, which can only be used underwater. Where Dante has a large sword, she has 2 double edged blades. She has a Cutlasser, her basic sword, Klyamoor, the equivalent to Dante's Merciless and Zambak, the equivalent to Dantes Vendetta. Lucia also has 2 underwater missions, where as Dante has none. Lucia has shorter missions which are a lot easier. Lucia has 2 Alternate costumes, One designed by Desiel and the other is a secretary costume (one of Arius's bodyguards). Dante also has 2 alternate costumes as well, One designed by Diesel and the original costume from DMC. Also when unlocked, both discs can be played on as Trish, Dante's side kick from DMC. As you can see DMC 2 has a lot more than DMC, which is why i think DMC 2 is a much better game.
